It seems even the residue of the Pseudo Tories now accept that Labour has been reclaimed by Jezza and the hard left. The public now have a clear choice.

I happen to think that the direction labour is going in is a very bad one. However, that won't necessarily stop it from being elected. The Tories are paying the price for neglecting younger voters, and are being punished - belatedly, but

Krom is dead right: Tory success has depended on voters who either have a stake or feel they can acquire a stake, in society on a largely aspirational basis. Strip that away and you are left with Labour's clarion (bit also extremely divisive) call to "the many, not the few" sounding more attractive than it deserves to. Not so long ago such a cry would have been electoral suicide, because we all wanted to jump on the bandwagon with the few, didn't we?
