I don't think there is much doubt that Mr Green is the mis-user of the computer.
The fact that the pornography is not illegal is not the issue here.
It points to a serious absence of judgement that an MP would misuse his works time and his works computer in this way, and that is the issue that should be discussed by his party, and his constituency party - whether he is fit to continue as an MP.
Not because he has been proven to be guilty, but because he has put himself in a position where serious doubt has occurred - which is easy to avoid - use your work time and PC correctly, and you'll never be in trouble.
I have also known BT staff members dismissed for this offence - it's ridiculous, everyone knows the rules and penalties.

Mikey - // Andy....I agree with you at 14:04, so therefore, yes he should be sacked, for lying. //
The fact remains that Mr Green has not be proven to be the individual who as misused the computer, so by default, he cannot be proven as having lied about it, and therefore should not in my view be sacked.

danny - // Thank you for the sarcasm, but the word conspiracy has been mentioned more than once. //
If, as you seem to suspect, the police may have downloaded material onto Mr Green's computer, is it likely that they would have simply applied material which attracts no legal sanction?
If they were looking to bury Mr Green's career, they of all people have access to material that they could have placed on his PC's hard drive that would have seen him in prison faster than you can say vendetta.

danny - // Andy, at the moment every post on here is speculation.I am probably alone in this ,but I believe he did not download the porn, //
Fair enough - but the evidence, even unproven, seriously suggests otherwise.
I am intrigued as to your reasons why you think Mr Green has not acted as accused -
