The governments that don't allow any aid organisations into the country , tend to be the corrupt ones , so the aid is not going to be spent on their peoples anyway .
If a country can demonstrate that aid that they receive is being spent on the people , then that's a different matter

Our foreign aid budget is not "bloated"
It may well be that some of it is not going where it should and some is going where it should not, but the argument should be about (sorry to use the term) value for what we spend and how much we spend as a proportion of GDP. It is about "soft power" and that is very important. Of course there is another argument to be had about the extent one might trust Corbyn, if he got the chance, to give away any money to anyone, but that is a separate matter.
