Can't believe anyone is still defending mass immigration when the architects, Tony Blair, etc, have admitted it was an enormous mistake.
We've even had to endure the sickening spectacle of Labour claiming to be the 'tough on immigration' party at the last 2 elections.
Spicey....immigration rose considerably under the Tories, since 2010, despite Cameron's promise that it would go down.
I find your alleged conversations with family members around the country unbelievable and a tad convenient, Islay.
It's only AB, not that important.
So, lol, you're complaining about immigration, Mikey?
Complaining Spicy ?....where have I complained ?

Mrs May is over in Poland today, and said this ::::

"We value Polish citizens and other EU citizens in the UK. They have made a life choice, we want them to be able to continue with that life choice."

I support her on that, 100%.
Why is Islay being doubted?

I often talk to family and friends about some of the more bizarre posts on here. Why wouldn't she?

Unless it's because she as born overseas................
Obviously doesn't work on building sites.
Eccles, I talked to all my friends and family about what Islay said and none of them believed her either.
What more proof can you ask for?
Spicey,.......more proof that you are providing today....for the record, I don't believe you when it comes to "I talked to all my friends and family"
Spice rack, I find it difficult to believe you rang round all your family and friends to ascertain that they didn't believe her either.

I suppose it is possible you have less than a handful of friends and family though.........
Since you asked Eccles, a few months ago Islay said she had spoken to members of her family who were or had been in the military who all agreed sargeant Blackman was a murderer, and I didn't think the truth of this stood up to much scrutiny and therefore dismissed it as a convenient lie as a way of backing up her assertion that he was a murderer.

It was no secret that people in the military took a very different view, and therefore the odds that all of her relatives who were or are in the military agreed that he was a murderer was just too unbelievable to be believed - therefore I dismissed it as a lie. If she had said, for instance, one of her military relatives thought he was a murderer I'd've probably believed her.

Trouble is, once you feel somebody has lied, it's difficult to believe anything that follows.

Since you asked....
Islay, I take it your nieces and nephews who attend school with foreign children are members of your family, spread throughout the UK, who share your experience of never seeing a foreigner in A&E. Must be a healthy bunch, those particular immigrants.
I’ve been doing a lot of hospital visiting lately, and I always have a nice game of ‘listen out for a British accent.’
It’s a game I loose with alarming regularity.
In fact, on the “Welcome” notice at the hospital entrance, it also says “welcome” in (what looks like to me) Eastern European, Russian, and Arabic.
That speaks volumes.

To answer AOG’s question: I believe it’s because all politicians are afraid of being labelled racist. The floodgates were opened long ago, and nobody has the cojones to try and close them.
Look at how Mrs. Gutless announced that Europeans in the UK (all 3 million of them) can stay AND bring their families here if they wish.
That includes those that are not fully supporting themselves, and those who are in social housing.

Things can only get worse. If every migrant couple has 2 children, eventually, they will have children of their own, and on and on and on, meaning our already overloaded services will eventually implode.
“Spicey....immigration rose considerably under the Tories, since 2010, despite Cameron's promise that it would go down.”

Please stop trying to make it a party issue, Mikey. Both main parties are equally culpable in this matter as neither saw any problem with allowing vast numbers of people to arrive here. It doesn’t matter whose “fault” it is. The important thing is that politicians accept the electorate’s concerns.

So do I. They arrived here in Good Faith under the prevailing rules (as ridiculous as they were). I don’t want to see anybody who did that thrown out. What I want to see is the ridiculous rules changed and we can only do that by quitting the EU (properly).
^^

The bit that I agree with:

"We value Polish citizens and other EU citizens in the UK. They have made a life choice, we want them to be able to continue with that life choice."

I support her on that, 100%.
//Complaining Spicy ?....where have I complained ? //

Hahahahaha.
Islay YMB I have often spoken to my family who are spread throught the UK and they all confirm what I have said in the previous post.

Can't have been to the Manor hospital, Walsall then or any of the surrounding area's hospitals ie Birmingham, Sandwell or Dudley.
//If every migrant couple has 2 children, eventually, they will have children of their own, and on and on and on, meaning our already overloaded services will eventually implode. //

Point. Will these imaginary "2 children" and their subsequent offspring be raised to consider GB as their spiritual homes and cultural roots? Or will they be raised to consider their origins as their basis for opinion? I am almost sure that we even have AB members who admit, when flustered, to being of just such a mind set. Now when these, "British" people inevitably gain positions of responsibility and influence, as they are encouraged to, do they put the interest of Britain first or their spiritual homelands?
mikey why are you calling spicerack a liar when he said the same thing as Islay whom you agree with?
Only convenient "truth" is considered Vulcan. Ohh and "convenient" untruths.
