Yes he is. The three Abrahamic religions

I would love to see a chugger go round a town centre and ask if Christians and Muslims share the same God.
So what is the truth in Oldham?
Does an imam always take prayers or can it be a chaplain from different religions?

Does anyone know for sure?
"I would love to see a chugger go round a town centre and ask if Christians and Muslims share the same God. "

I suspect most genuine Christians, Muslims and Jews already know it's the same God.
Angel images in stained glass will need removing before muslims worship in church
Jesus is the son of Allah then?
Well I am no expert but to Moslems Jesus is a revered prophet not the son of God.
The fact that it's the same God plainly doesn't help as much as it should to bring people together :-)
For those who wish to share a roof above their heads it's good news, for those that don't then they won't join in.
So Muslims and Christians share the same God? LOL.

So, it's the same God but one of them has a son called Jesus?
Given that Muslims would gladly slit the throat of any Christian, I am at a loss to understand this.
Its madness Talbot. Jews don't recognise Jesus at all. Christians think that in some way Jesus IS God and muslims recognise him as a prophet. And yet all worship the same God???

Yes.
I think that God ought to be a bit clearer about things personally!
That is if he actually wants us to accept his reality.

OK, but which one Nailit?
ill say this once, abers know my past posts regarding islam, this inter faith get together what you will, great idea as we we know faith in whatever god, supposedly the same one...weird, anyway...it's not going to go away, so if anything faiths can find common place, good, perhaps some parts of islam is growing up, or taqiya...but id like to err on the side of let's see it develope, hard core islamists would say nay...expected though, teething problems.
That's a point Baldric.
Osiris, Allah, Wotan, Yahweh, Zeus, Thor ? Dunno.
Plenty of Goddess's out there as well.
They are all a bit vague about what they want but their followers always seem informed. Strange that!
//They are all a bit vague about what they want//
Apart from some ancient, vague and contradictory texts that is.
The next time I see someone lecturing the Irish about religious bigotry I will be VERY hard on them :-)
No. Jehovah and Allah are very different, vengeful and demanding ideas of God. Quite different to the Christian belief of an all-encompassing, loving and forgiving God. I'm not too good at expressing all this - but this is what I have learned by experience. Get one of the more experienced debaters to go into detail. I believe I have explained the main point.
