If this was an isolated case, jno, I'd always have given the benefit of the doubt.

It isn't - it's just a particularly egregious example of a pattern of posting that is becoming incredibly irksome.

If a user wants to be taken in good faith it is necessary for them display that honesty both in their own posts and in how they treat others. It's only my personal opinion (but one I know I'm not alone in) that the user in question is not operating in that mode.

I have spent months assuming 'good faith' and holding back from criticism - I have been wrong.
