I watched Question Time last night. The audience were under 30's. I expected lots of anti Brexiteers blaming the older generation and pro women only lists. I was so surprised to find the opposite, most of them were the opposite, especially Women only Lists. Well done the youngsters of Leeds! Even Baroness Shami Chackrebati was stunned!!

A Labour MP on QT yesterday was saying she was proud to have all female selections.

Personally I think it is a silly idea born out of desperation and whinging of 'why not me? I can do it, give me a chance. Go on please, pleeeeeeease.

Perhaps they should be selected ala The Voice and no one knows the gender until a selection has been made. They could get all the candidates to give their pitch of 'why me and this is what I stand for' sort of thing and get an actor to actually pitch to the judges.

Much fairer than gender specific selection.
