To be fare the car driver did just run straight into him.....

But even so what sort of person has one of those knives handy in their pocket?

What was he going to do if he had managed to get to him?

Beggars belief
Looks like a scene from a Movie, dangerous individual - let's hope he's soon caught.

And yet another one, with plenty of witnesses, but as usual no descriptions or arrests.

Two appalling incidents - I doubt the knife-carrying cyclist will remain at large for long, someone will know him.
perhaps that will teach drivers to be more careful.
London urgently needs strong leadership. How much more of this on Sadiq Khan's watch? The capital has gradually turned into a no-go area since he's been in place. Time for him to step down
Brave chaps who got off the bus and ran towards the incident.

are you saying it's ok for cyclists to retaliate with lethal force? really?

Whilst I don’t condone the use of a knife and never would it could be argued that the driver used lethal force, the cyclist reciprocated.
Motorists invariably kill cyclists, it’s a rare event fo the opposite.
Had some acehole drive in front of me so I couldn't continue forward the other day, all because he was driving right up to the rear of my car and I pulled over to let him go by and the idiot ended up stopped behind me anyway because he was so content to be right on me. He yelled and waved his fist and manouvered his car in front. I tried a 3 point turn to avoid trouble with the moron and he kicked my car. Can't believe the types you encounter these days. Must be something in the water, or the air. He soon went back to his car and drove off when I got out to deal with the situation though. For some reason he suddenly thought better of staying. Worrying thought is that it could've ended differently had he thought to carry a weapon.
Cyclists choose to risk suicide by going on roads with motorised vehicles, with no protection. In a sane world, society would help folk with such a lack of self preservation by making it illegal to dice with danger that way.

Then why not start up a campaign amongst the cyclists ChilDoubt, all in the name of equality, you understand?
Campaign for what OG?
Apologies,
Campaign for what AOG?
Whatever the actions of the driver, the lunatic cyclist was carrying a weapon before the incident.
First, there is no excuse for carrying around a knife of that size.

Second, there is no excuse for trying to batter your way into a car, presumably to use the aforementioned knife.

Third, there is no excuse for a driver to simply run over a cyclist who is in their way.
Well summed up sp.
