Why do black people in first class get challenged, but not white passengers?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5819331/Virgin-Trains-forced-apologise-Olympian-Louis-Smith-challenged-class-seats.html

Furthermore, why would they be checked by a waiter, rather than a ticket inspector?

Was Virgin Trains right to apologise?

// his recent disgrace. //

That was 4 years ago and was trivial.
I'm confident that if a rich white chap was moaning about some uppity, black waiter having the temerity to ask for his ticket, SP would be equally incensed.
How come he is black and not mixed race?

// his recent disgrace. //

That was 4 years ago and was trivial.

Not so trivial that he didn't suffer a temporaryt ban on competition, was forced to do the usual Stalinist show trial admission of guilt accompanied by heavy remorse.

Followed by the further humiliation of "learning about Islam" by going to a couple of mosques and being lied to by grinning imams.
There is always an outcry from black people when stop and search annoys them in spite of black on black crime so maybe the waiter has experience of blacks abusing the rules?
I always though Louis was a role model thro his willingness to work hard and practise ....

he estimated that he had done a million humps on the doo dah ( horsey thing ) to achieve his medal

pretending to pray islamically - so what the mistake was photoing it and putting into the public domain
Gromit at 21:04, admirably precise.
//pretending to pray islamically...//

Well, let's face it, it's pretty absurd to modern eyes.

Two and a half thousand years ago the Greeks had worked out that this prostration stuff was the sign of servility. Wgich ought to be the more serious criticism of the Religion of Submission.
Louis broke the stereotype and didnt like the shock it caused.

I went into a bank today and asked "Can I transfer a sum from the current account to deposit" and was told
well it depends if you have that much in your account
( I look like crap most of the time, and dress from Oxfam )

My mother selected an overcoat - not Gomboolatelli costing thousands or anything - and was told
O I dont think you can affford that ....
she very nearly underwent nuclear meltdown .....
That beats all - PP doing Oprah.

///Seems he was the only one challenged/// . . . @ 11:35

No he wasn't (Read the Link)

///Virgin Trains has apologised after Olympic star Louis Smith revealed he and another black passenger were the only people asked to show their tickets in first class///
I once went to the annual dance of a local West Indian Association. Me and Mrs. Clarion to be, at that time. There was only one other white person there, who I knew. But everyone was great. Had a fantastic night. The rum was something else, I can tell you. Green rum! Woo Hoo! What's that got to do with the OP? Nowt! LOL!
Theland - // There is always an outcry from black people when stop and search annoys them in spite of black on black crime so maybe the waiter has experience of blacks abusing the rules? //

If he does, then he will have had more experience of 'whites' abusing the rules, since, statistically, there are more of them as passengers, so why was he not checking white customers' tickets as well?

Or is it because you liked to post a spurious argument, so you could shoehorn the word 'blacks' into it, in a demeaning way?
