I am unsure if that dig is aimed at me - if so, for the record, there is more than ample evidence to back up my views on the President, and he is delighted to add to it every single day he is in office.


Pragmatism is essential in politics, and it something that is probably too subtle for a man who has spent his entire adult life having his own way to understand.

But on this, President Trump appears to understand that he needs the racist vote, so he is very careful not to upset it unless he absolutely has to - and that means speaking out against them as little as he can possibly get away with. Lord knows, he has enough other nonsense to bury that under!
