It would certainly be double standards if the Mayor’s office demanded that the pieces be taken down.

You cannot accuse two entirely separate entities of double standards. It makes no sense.

If the Mayor’s office gave the go ahead for a street party to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday, and Camden Council announced that no parties would be allowed in the borough, where would the double standards be located?

That analogy mirrors what we see in this story.

Street-art and its' appropriateness on this particular cafe has been an on-going battle between the owner and the Local Authority for over 12 months......

It can't be compared with the Trump-blimp in any way, unless by sulky-sorts who are determined to see double-standards where they don't exist...
