Theland - As you may or may not know, I am an atheist, but I have a reasonable grasp of the concept of Christianity - I attend Mass weekly, so I do get to hear biblical texts, and a priest's homily. Based on what I understand Christianity to be - and the OP's and thread responses you post on here - this being a prime example, I have to say that I think you are the most...

What offends me Theland is that you tar everyone with the same brush. Why do you feel the need to jump to conclusions and point the finger without a shred of evidence?

Can you honestly .... honestly now .... say that it didn't cross your mind it might be an Islamic terrorist attack, maggiebee? Theland just said what a lot of people are thinking.

/// I have no idea which planet you come from Theland but please return there for a long, long
holiday. ///

There is no need to be so rude, a fellow ABer has presented a thread, of which one can either agree or disagree with their thoughts and that is one's prerogative, but please don't present a hostile attitude, thanks..
//If islam wanted control, they'd have it. //

No they wouldn't. That's nonsense.

FF, if the comment was addressed to me it wouldn't matter what I thought or said, The Oracle knows all.
//There is no need to be so rude,//

Wow, insulted on others behalves much?

If you’re going to throw tough propaganda around on the web you need to be able to have thick skin and be able to take some flak back.
spath, //the poor position the attacker must have felt he was in //

What?

//I didn't think ohh lets have a dig at islam //

I doubt anyone else did either... but anyone with any sense has come to understand that when things like this take place, there's a very good chance that Islam is involved.

The difference is, if you say a newstand in the high street of an incident, you may quickly make a mental guess at what's gone on but wouldn't loudly announce to the township your thoughts (most of us anyway) - on here, some do just that.

Maybe in the hope they'll be right? Who knows.
I think the problem people have is with others using the terms "muslim" or "Islam" as if they are synonymous/interchangeable with "terrorist" or "ISIS". Which isn't fair.
"There is no need to be so rude" That's rich coming from one of the rudest posters on this site. Sauce not tasting very good?
Probably true to a degree, Ed, but there’s no option. Muslim is synonymous with Islam. There are no comfortable, politically correct synonyms.

There is 'flack' i.e. putting up an educated and intelligent counter argument and there is rude, for the sake of being rude 'flack', with not one intelligent thought attached to it.

I think Ed meant some people regard Islam/Muslims as being synonymous with Terrorist/ISIS
But Spath .... it appears Theland could be right. The perpetrator is thought to be Iranian.
And the last word goes to ..............................

The point is don’t go launching stones if you reside in a glazial abode.
As appears quite likely this man (singular as far as we're aware) is a Muslim, then Theland has won his bet.

Title could have been better worded.
