13 months did seem a bit much, people that cause death by dangerous driving etc, sometimes get less.
This was definitely politically motivated imo.

It was the way it was handled and the sentencing he has appealed against. He will get trialled again.

Is it still going on, did they get sentenced, has it been hushed up for some reason?
