Kay... The Cruise Ship Jumper?

Sorry folks, but this looks like a publicity scam to me. You don’t just fall off a cruise liner unless you have some help from humans or alcohol. No sympathy for this woman, who was probably wearing a hard hat and neck brace when she left the boat.

well it does seem a bit odd I grant you, quite hard to fall off a cruise ship but lets say she did, she didn't look anything like as knackered as she should be if she'd been treading water and swimming for 10 hours. Dunno what actually happened but it does look like there is more to come out of this.
Having cruised many times, I know it is quite hard to fall overboard, you need to behave very foolishly to put yourself in a position where you can fall.
I doubt anyone would do it on purpose though.
The fall alone is dangerous, from that height, serious injury is quite likely, and even if she was spotted falling, there is no guarantee that she would be found.
More details to come I am sure.

More coming out, a big argument with her mates, just how high is the 7th deck

Talbot - // Down market cruise ship, andy or an elite cruise ship? //
'Upmarket' - although I fail to see the relevance.
The point is, for a ship to operate, it has to pass rigorous safety standards, and that will mean that falling overboard accidentally is only ever possible if you put yourself in a position of danger first.
