The Government Will Fail To Meet Labours Six Tests
Simply because the only way to meet them is to stay in.
1.Does it ensure a strong and collaborative future relationship with the EU?
2. Does it deliver the “exact same benefits” as we currently have as members of the Single Market and Customs Union?
3. Does it ensure the fair management of migration in the interests of the economy and communities?
4. Does it defend rights and protections and prevent a race to the bottom?
5. Does it protect national security and our capacity to tackle cross-border crime?
6. Does it deliver for all regions and nations of the UK?
1. Define strong and collaborative.
2 is impossible outside the EU.
3 have they defined what is fair and the interests of the economy and communities?
4 means nothing. There is nothing to quantify what race to the bottom actually means.
5. Unless either side want to cut off their own noses ....
6. Deliver what?
If they think May and the government are going to want agreement on vague assurances then their six tests are just as vague simply so they can say they haven’t been met.

As someone who voted to leave the EU, I remain insulted that Remainers think that the Leave vote got a majority because people were too dim to know what they were voting for.
I knew exactly what I was voting for, my reasons have not changed one iota during the negotiations, and I would vote the same again tomorrow.
Except that democracy voting is not 'best of three' until the Remainers get what they want - that's not how it works.
