The Government Will Fail To Meet Labours Six Tests
Simply because the only way to meet them is to stay in.
1.Does it ensure a strong and collaborative future relationship with the EU?
2. Does it deliver the “exact same benefits” as we currently have as members of the Single Market and Customs Union?
3. Does it ensure the fair management of migration in the interests of the economy and communities?
4. Does it defend rights and protections and prevent a race to the bottom?
5. Does it protect national security and our capacity to tackle cross-border crime?
6. Does it deliver for all regions and nations of the UK?
1. Define strong and collaborative.
2 is impossible outside the EU.
3 have they defined what is fair and the interests of the economy and communities?
4 means nothing. There is nothing to quantify what race to the bottom actually means.
5. Unless either side want to cut off their own noses ....
6. Deliver what?
If they think May and the government are going to want agreement on vague assurances then their six tests are just as vague simply so they can say they haven’t been met.

“It came as senior Labour figures engaged in an extraordinary public squabble over whether the party should then call for a second referendum – and what should be on the ballot paper.”

They have tests ? Not that they mean anything, but:
It has no effect on future relations if all behave reasonably.
If it delivered the same as before it wouldn't have been worth going. Long term it will be better, and that starts with regained sovereignty.
Migration will depend on what is decided after we leave. Most fair is a nation deciding who to allow in. Unfair is importing skill needed in another's home country whilst neglecting to train those here.
Again it will depend on trade agreements yet to be made. Until we're out of the EU we aren't allowed to make any.
This will depend entirely on the EU officials being responsible people. But we will achieve the best possible.
Deliver an exit of course.
