The whole 'throw away' society needs to change. It is not sustainable in the long term especially given the massive increases in population we have seen and will continue to see.

can't wait for the rest of the world to catch up!
But not until 2021 for the EU bloc, why not now it is not exactly difficult to find alternatives.

And as for the rest of the World.....

I believe peeing in the Ocean is the phrase.
As convenient as plastic has been to mankind (womankind too, just to make sure I'm not perceived as sexist), it's now proving what a blight it is on the planet we live on.
If we don't want to destroy where we live we need to have a re-think on how we live our lives.

How do you define single-use? If I use a plastic knife and fork I wash them for further reuse.
