Javid was perfectly correct in calling the convicted groomers as Asian. They clearly were. A more accurate description might have been ‘predominantly Pakistani’ and then Indians and Bangladeshis are not falsely tarnished with the same brush.
Javid’s use of the term ‘no go areas’ was completely wrong and should not have been used. No one has suggested that there are no go areas in Huddesfield. There aren’t.

Why Javid wants to mislead his Twitter followers is up to him. He knows his own followers and what will interest them.

Since the groomers are overwhelmingly Pakistani Muslims, Khan is right to criticise Javid for referring to them as ‘Asian’. That’s an insult to Asians as a whole. As someone who condemns criticism of FGM as a hate crime Khan’s agenda is clear. He’s a dangerous man who has no place in public office.

You are right even Sajid Javid hasn't specifically mentioned Huddesfield, but I think you will find that he was referring to other parts of the UK, including London.

But then lets take Huddersfield for example, it would seem it is certainly a 'no go area' for young white girls.
