AOG; an effigy of someone in the public eye may be in poor taste but an effigy of a building in which so many died is in absolutely awful taste. The two cannot be compared. Surely?
It is odd how people are more outraged with this video than the people who put the flammable cladding on the building to save money... That is "utterly unacceptable". They knew the fire hazards in the building, the government failed to act. We should be outraged at them but we're not are we.. We'll get up in arms over some random mindless idiots.. Really worth all of our time.
Maybe.. nada got done though! There are still buildings with just as much fire risk. They also knew of the serious fire dangers. They are solely to blame.
Darcey the government knew the fire issues with the building. Other buildings are still, currently, a massive hazard. There were many warning signs, all of them were ignored. This goes above and beyond the cladding company.
spath - It's very easy to subscribe to the 'conspiracy-theory' when considering the Grenfell Disaster. It is far closer to '***-up' than conspiracy, although that in itself is precious little comfort to the families of those who died.
