It is good news that Theresa has now conceded that there are three options.
Bad deal, no deal or ( the obviously best option) no Brexit.
Who could ask for anything more?

No Brexit would be a betrayal of the nation and of democracy. Only a small nunber of immoral MPs would suggest or support that. And we all already know that no deal beats a bad deal hands down. Even May knows that. So, nothing much changed of late then.

The fact that this deal, in all its horridness, has been accepted shows that Theresa May knows the exact opposite. No deal is the worst of all worlds.

Any acceptance would be down to a combination of remainers in the cabinet, and leavers who were persuaded their party (or their career maybe) would suffer if it was rejected. There can't be many who think remaining with even less say/power, and throwing away many the advantages Brexit was voted for, is better than anything else that could be achieved instead.

Not to a self-confident nation which values its freedom and trusts in its ability and courage to meet the difficult problems following a nno-deal Brexit and overcome them.

I acknowledge that the moral qualities I'm referring to are more dilute than they were sixty years ago, Jim. So - for that reason - you may be right.

I don't think you need to be too harsh: after all, there's also pragmatism, which is at times a worthwhile quality.
