Just listened to Jezza's response to the PM, he's bang on, this is a bungled and botched deal. We have screwed it right up. From a position where we should have had a good hand to play to this disaster. As much as I hate COB Labour and all they stand for, it seems we must rely on them to stop this disaster making it through the house and ensuring we leave with no deal.

jim, all I'm saying is that if this is not approved by parliament then we'll have no deal. Labour and others look set to vote against QED, no deal.

It depends on what Parliament does and says: it is not yet impossible that Parliament prefers no Brexit, or Ref2, to No Deal.

no Brexit would be a huge betrayal of all those who voted leave.

If Parliament unilaterally decided not to deliver Brexit, then yes, I can accept that -- although the argument would be that the alternative was worse, because in the short term at least it certainly will be. This deal takes back no control, but rather hands it all over.

If, however ,the people are asked to vote again, then the only way that the decision can be overturned is if the people wish it. How then can they be betrayed?

jim 11:17, but surely they'd have to create and pass a "no brexit" bill. Not passing this deal has no effect on leaving the EU as it stands.

Arrods, but we aren't in power, the electorate is being made fools of. We pay politicians to make the right decisions on our behalf, if they mess it up, we pay the price, not them.
