Whether or not anybody is ideologicall y committed to Brexit or not and to what degree is not really the point. This deal involves the UK leaving the EU in name only. It also jeopardises the integrity of the UK and threatens to tie the UK to a Treaty from which there is no escape clause (depending solely on the goodwill of the Euromaniacs to "allow" no doubt under...

""...what I suppose I am asking is whether or not you think it worth taking this deal if it at least gets you closer to leaving the EU than remaining would." - as per the judge it it doesn't get us closer, it gets us BRINO. There's no point in leaving and giving up what tiny say we did have if we are still under the control of the EUSSR.
Why indeed, Theland?
The notion that a "No Deal" exit is akin to shooting ourselves (not just in the foot, but to death, it seems) is laughable. Much of the world's trade is done on WTO terms and nobody dies as a result. It's what many "normal" countries do and they do so with non-EU countries (areas where I trade is expanding, in contrast to the shrinking EU). But so spineless and lacking in confidence and vision are our leaders that they seem to think we can only survive if tied to Nanny EU's apron strings. It's utterly pathetic.

are you for real? EUSSR exports to us incur the same charge as our exports to them. Which helps no one, which is why it won't happen, even if we leave with no deal. 5 mins after brexit when the politicians are out of it business will get involved and sort it. The last think the Germans/French want is 20% on all their jam jars for example. I'll fetch the jelly whilst I wait for you next piece of cryptography shall I?
Why do you have to resort to jibes? I’m asking a sensible question in a reasonable manner.
‘EUSSR exports to us incur the same charge as our exports to them’
That will end with WTO rules. Our politicians or businesses won’t be able to do a thing about the tariffs which WTO rules will immediately impose.
