What law could have been broken? He didn't steal anything so there is no theft.
He was invited in to the house so there is no breaking and entering.
At best there could be a trespass because he searched the drawers, but that is not a police matter.
He didn't set out of to shock or be seen so there is no public indecency offence. He wasn't in public. He hasn't assaulted or injured anyone.

I'd be furious at anyone rootling through my drawers but I certainly wouldn't consider calling the police or informing the media.

I'd tell him what I thought of him and break off contact.

Years ago I was called to a seedy hotel in Gloucester Terrace, Paddington near to the station where a death had occurred.
