I don't think so. I read TTT as saying the government is no longer responsible - and I can see what he means. However, in my opinion it has to take responsibility for its mishandling of Brexit and hence, for allowing this situation to arise at all.

yes naomi but they are no longer in control so what happens now is not down to them, that is the point of this post.
FF, the extension has been dictated by the EU they'd never go that long. As I have said before , no deal is looking inevitable. They have a fortnight to do something and we have already tipped our hand to the EU so they ain't budging. The only way to avoid no deal is to cancel A50 which is by the way preferable to May's deal.
