There have always been turf wars, they're horrible, doesn't mean these turf wars are okay or that anyone pointing this out is an 'apologist', just means it's nothing new. Deal with it like they've always been dealt with.

The contention of the provocatively titled OP is that there's an increase in certain types of crime in London, and that cultural diversity is the reason for it.

There are two ways of responding to these claims, assuming you're sufficently interested to do so.

The serious response (may I call it that?) is: Is the OP right about the increase, and, if so, is he right about the cause?

Another way of answering is: we've always had crime and, anyway, why is he asking the question, is he a racist?

The less than serious response comes, I guess - and has already been suggested - from posters who support multiculturalism in principle, but are unaffected by it in practice. Billy Bragg in Dorset style.

I cannot answer based on turf wars in London and have acknowledged they are taking place amongst these workers and are nasty - I have only slight experience of similar in my own Town on a much lesser level.
