It's not like the public get to vote is it? Even the wider membership only votes when there are two left. Why inflict this on the public?

Probably for the benefit of the Tory members who will have to decide between the final two candidates.
I dont agree with it at General Election time and certainly not for this.

The BBC want to do it because they will use some lefty liberal presenter to try and put them forward as all Tory Toffs.

As for Rory, not in a million years. If he gets it Tories are finished. Forever. Mind you looking at those on here who like him perhaps that is what they want.
May as well watch it, where else can you listen to a few hours of pure blatant Tory Liars ?.

I think televised debates are pretty dubious for any kind of election, but these are particularly pointless.
