Some people don't just put their feet up and forget about it, or let the sewage flood all the way up to their doors before they make a sand bag. That Mr Trump chooses to retaliate to a shameful insult from Khan is Trump’s choice – personally I think he should consider it beneath his dignity – but, judging by the performance of the protestors, dignity is clearly at a premium worldwide. In my opinion Khan is most certainly lacking in stature, as are his supporters in his spiteful war against Trump – but that observation doesn’t relate to physical qualities. These really are small people.

Mr Trump is here by invitation and the idiots protesting should respect that. They are an embarrassment to this nation.

They have every right to protest. The only embarrassment is the UK gov, and how it's handled brexit.
