My view of Scottish independence is they could govern themselves more than well enough. I also don't see why a land of mountains, lochs and beauty has to be governed by some people sat over 500 miles away in a polluting city. Half of MPs with a say probably haven't even spent the weekend in Scotland.
England and Scotland are completely separate countries with their differences being quite strong.

So why govern them the exact same way? It's ludicrous IMO. Let them have the independence and yes, like steg says, motivate them, and support this.

People are all doom and gloom.
“//they must be pretty good in government //

that argument holds no water. there were those that voted in the present uk government. would you say they've been "pretty good"?”

The fact that they still dominate Scottish politics at every level after 12 years of government and look set to still dominate for some time, must hold at least a bit of water
steg; You don't speak for all Scotland (as the last independence referendum proved) and perhaps you should be careful what you wish for;

I certainly don’t speak for all scotland, I speak for my self,
as I’ve said, the voters up here will speak for Scotland next election
It appears that we (well, some of us) are not alone in thinking her trip to Brussels was meaningless & silly posturing;

People are entitled to their opinion k,
obviously tho, the eu and eu president must not of thought it meaningless & silly and that must count for something.
But maybe if folk like. Hunt and that had made a few meaningless & silly posturing visits before eu ref we maybe wouldn’t be in this brexit mess that were in now.
