What suggesting "why throw milkshakes when one could throw battery acid" is not inciting violence, then it is obvious that you are completely wrong, but then knowing your left wing, anti Brexit views on Nigel Farage it is of no surprise.

OK, so the comedy of a bygone era, can't be compared to that of what Jo Brand said..
The comedy of a by gone era would offend a large % of viewers, be them black people being offended of racism, or women being offended over sexism or large populations of people being offended by social stereotypes.
What Jo Brand said offended 19 people, not a large % of the audience at all.
There for, this comedy is not comparable to racism, sexism, social stereotyping or any other comedy of a "by gone era".

Seems to me it's a question rather than a statement or incitement.
She said throwing milkshakes is pathetic and pointless.
What is the point of spilling milk if they wish to assault someone why not use battery acid? And that gives the question.. because how awful would that be. Indicating those who threw milk shakes are pathetic ***.
It's not inciting anything.

// Jokes of yesteryear were racist and offensive to the general population. //
Clearly they weren't, or they wouldn't have been tolerated for so long. Many shows that are now considered racist and misogynistic were hugely popular at one time.
// What Jo Brand said, certainly was not. //
This is true. A huge number of people that hate Nigel Farage\brexiteers etc think he's fair game to be the target for such 'humour'. If it was directed at someone they admired the same people would be calling for the perpetrator to be imprisoned for hate crime.
As it's someone they hate though, it's just a jolly good chuckle and we should all stop being so sensitive.

/// Yeah comparing a joke, to rape and racism, shows the position you're coming from ///
Who said anything about racism? Only those who apply double standards, why are jokes about ethnic minorities, given the label of racism.
Even imitating certain mannerisms of ethnic minorities are frowned upon, while it is perfectly in order to do the same with the Scottish, Irish, Welsh and English.
Black comedians make jokes over the white population of this country, but then we can laugh at ourselves, with no offence shown.

It is obvious that we disagree about what 'inciting violence' actually is - so we must agree to differ and leave it there I am sure you will agree.
As for your observations that I have left-wing anti-Brexit views on Nigel Farage, I must congratulate you for three unfounded incorrect assumptions in one sentence.
First of all - I am not, as I have pointed out to you times without number, although you persist in either not reading what I say, or reading it and the forgetting it - I am not a 'left winger.
Second of all - if you read any of my posts about Brexit, you will see that I am an avid supporter of No Deal, and extraction from the EU at the earliest opportunity.
Third of all - I am a supporter of Mr Farage, and I voted for his party in the last council elections.
Hopefully that has cleared up any misunderstandings, although I am not holding my breath.
