Interesting to note that the Sun reported that
'One youth appeared to be armed with a long stick as troubled flared'
That so called youth was in fact a police officer.

Naomi - I didn't mean the 'your position' to refer to you - it was to refer to anyone putting forward a position which can be contradicted.
Spicerack - // Is that opaque enough for you? //

Yes thanks, it's absolutely 'opaque' enough for me -

opaque
/ə(ʊ)ˈpeɪk/
adjective
adjective: opaque; comparative adjective: opaquer; superlative adjective: opaquest
1.
not able to be seen through; not transparent.
"bottles filled with a pale opaque liquid"
synonyms:
non-transparent, cloudy, filmy, blurred, smeared, hazy, misty, dirty, dingy, muddy, muddied, grimy, smeary
"the bottle was made of opaque glass so that the contents could not be seen"

Maybe you should check what words actually mean before you throw them into your posts in an effort to be clever.

You can finish up looking rather foolish otherwise.
AH, //Naomi - I didn't mean the 'your position' to refer to you - it was to refer to anyone putting forward a position which can be contradicted. //

Okay, but that changes nothing. I repeat, they haven't and they won't.
Learnt what opaque meant in the junior school, you pompous fool.
People imply Andy is a bias moderator. I think this page of the thread proves not.
Spicerack - // Learnt what opaque meant in the junior school, you pompous fool. //

Leaving aside your rudeness - again - I am confused by what you are trying to say.

You obliquely refer to a post of mine from another thread saying "You'd know." which makes no sense.

I ask for an explanation, and I get two quotes of mine, asking if that is 'opaque' enough for me.

How could it be opaque to me - I wrote it, obviously I understand what I said, even if you are unsure, in which case, say so, and we can discuss it.

I am at a loss as to what you are trying to say, and why you feel the need to be rude about it, but I am unwilling to indulge your nonsense and risk de-railing the thread, so please consider our exchange completed.

Thank you.
Lol.
