Once again the 'what if … ' defence is being trotted out with varying degrees of self-righteous outrage.
If I had been there, and assessed that there might have been a serious threat to life from the woman protester, I would have grabbed her around her body pinning her arms to her sides, and shouted loudly for help.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt in taking your observation that the protester should have been punched as being a deliberate attempt to provoke a response, I didn't think for one minute you would be crass enough to actually mean it.
Of course, if I have mis-read your intentions, and your attitude concerning matters of violence towards women ...
