As I have pointed out, and am happy to do again - i work in music journalism, which, although it does have its own purple patches from time to time, it has nothing like the subversive agendas of the tabloids.
Speaking personally, I have never ever sent anything to print that I do not believe to the the absolute truth, either because I have verified it personally, or I am quoting the source verbatim from a personal conversation.
That puts me several ethical light years away from the 'media correspondent' who was so keen to go jangling to the Telegraph.

Hans - // Are you saying andy, that everything you post in AB is guaranteed to be 100% truthful. //
No, I am saying that everything I send to the magazines and websites I work for is 100% truthful - if I am stating it to be a fact, then I have verified it, if it is an opinion, then obviously that is not factual.

There is a difference anyway, between saying something you completely believe or know to be the truth, and newspapers who make money from misleading and letting people leap to their own conclusions.
From what I saw of the wedding, either Meghan really is in love with Harry, or is a great actress (lol). I'm sure she will get the hang of it.

You are leaping to a conclusion simply because you choose to do so.
My views on AB may involve facts which I believe to be true, but may not be so, and I cannot always be in a position to know either way.
Suffice it to say that I answer any OP or response as truthfully as I am able, I do not lie internationally, and I am sure that goes for the majority of AB'ers.
I may not always be truthful, but that is not the same as saying that I offer untruths deliberately, I do not.
As I often quote, the flat-earther speaks the truth as they believe it to be - but that does not mean that what they say is true.

I was also surprised at Spath's post, suppose it depends on recent? It's almost easier to list which Royal hasn't been divorced in the last 40 odd years. As listed those that have included Princesses Margaret and Anne and Princes Charles and Andrew (3 out of the Queen's 4 children). How many more do you want?
Hans - // andy...You now appear to be getting down to earth on matters.
Accordingly, perhaps it is better if I regard you as someone to be treated with care, as i am of the belief (rightly or wrongly) that you are an AB Moderator. Your honest reply will be appreciated. //
My honest reply is that you can treat me however you wish, within Site Rules, I honestly could not care less.
Quite what my being a Moderator has to do with anything, I have absolutely no idea, but again, I am really not interested.
