I certainly recognise that speech. It sounds very similar to a highly praised speech attributed to Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard. This speech was denied and snopes said it was a HOAX. It went viral. It is strange no one turned a hair when it was circulated but then it wasn't attributed to POTUS was it? //: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT....

Naomi, why you would - and how you could - deny Trump was talking about those congresswomen, I have no idea, but as long as you do, given the OP was about "these women", there's nothing really to discuss is there?

> Ilhan Omar, hero of the left. Hates America, loves Al Qaeda. Loves her own brother so much she married him. (yuk, even if it was just a scheme to defraud the US Tax and Immigration authorities.)

Great, lots to attack there without resorting to racism.
> Read the news.........on the aBBC.
> Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

OK, let's cut out all the middlemen including the ones with questionable editorial standards and just go straight to the source:

Likewise, Naomi, straight from the POTUS's mouth:

> So great to see how unified the Republican Party was on today’s vote concerning statements I made about four Democrat Congresswomen.

So Trump says the statements were about those congresswomen.
He verbally attacked those women because they verbally attacked him! He responded to their verbal attack and good for him .. He's not a shrinking violet, he fights back and why the hell shouldn't he ??
This is easy for trump to deal with... He should simply grab them by the pussy
> he fights back and why the hell shouldn't he ??

Of course he should. The issue is that he resorted to racist remarks.
//The issue is that he resorted to racist remarks.//

What were the racist remarks?
Togo, are you deliberately being obtuse?
Togo, for the racist remarks, see my post of 19:31 Wed 17th Jul 2019.

For why they were racist, see my post of 20:20 Wed 17th Jul 2019.

You seem to like asking questions without answering any yourself. See the question in my post of 21:25 Wed 17th Jul 2019, repeated below:

>> "go back [to] the totally broken and crime infested places from which [you] came"
> How is that not racist when referring to the three congresswomen born in the USA?
//>> "go back [to] the totally broken and crime infested places from which [you] came" //

Where does that refer to race or a "dislike" of a race?
He asked those who originally came from other countries why they don’t go back to fix those countries, and told those who are not happy in the US that they may leave if they want to. He didn’t ‘tell’ anyone to ‘go’. That shouldn’t be too difficult for anyone to understand.

And Ellipsis, you are still repeating exactly the same old disingenuous nonsense. Nothing like taking words out of context.
Well fact is, if I, or Ellipsis, or the congress women felt the comments were racist, then they were exactly that. When was telling someone to go back to a country from which they came NOT racist?
Spath, //When was telling someone to go back to a country from which they came NOT racist? //

Get a grip. He didn't tell anyone to go back to anywhere.
Naomi ...

> Ellipsis. No he didn't say that "to the three congresswomen born in the USA". He said it to those //who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, //
> ... but don't let the truth stop you.

I don't know what "truth" you were referring to, but Trump himself said:

> So great to see how unified the Republican Party was on today’s vote concerning statements I made about four Democrat Congresswomen.
Meanwhile in the real World Trump's ratings in the polls jump 4 points and crowds at a rally give him a massive cheer. He even thanks the crazies for their input to his campaign. Haha......driving them nuts.

// President Donald Trump thanked Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after experiencing a four-point approval bump in the latest Rasmussen poll after an uproar over his critical tweets.
“Thank you to the vicious young Socialist Congresswomen,” he wrote on Twitter. “America will never buy your act!” Trump commented on the political uproar after he criticized Ocasio-Cortez and other Democrats for their anti-American statements. //
Is he thinking, perhaps, of re establishing the Un-American Activities Committee?
Trying to pretend that Trump's comments were somehow constructive criticism and keep a straight face is a pretty impressive achievement.
Ellipsis.// So great to see how unified the Republican Party was on today’s vote concerning statements I made about four Democrat Congresswomen.//

Well he did make statements about four congresswomen. He's not denying that. He asked why those who came from other countries don’t go back and fix the problems there, and told the rest that if they don’t like living in the US they are free to live elsewhere. Fair enough.

Jim, trying to keep a straight face on anything you post about Trump (or Brexit) is a pretty impressive achievement.
Ooh, sick burn right there.

Trump's demonstrated time and again that he's racist. This is just another example. You're welcome to keep pretending otherwise, but you're fooling only yourself.

Question Author
Racist:
A person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another.

Suggesting that someone who is not happy living in a particular country, should then perhaps leave, by definition is not racist, even if they happen to possess a darker skin colour.
