Who said; 'let the effing *** eat effing cake'? Mary Ann Tourettes

Pixie, Ernie fancied himself as a playwright but couldn’t string two written words together, and Eric claimed to play all the right notes on the piano - but not necessarily in the right order. Result chaos. Deliciously daft and very, very funny – and it seems most of the country thought so too. However, given today’s penchant for seeking offence, it could be claimed, quite ridiculously, that Eric and Ernie were ridiculing people with learning difficulties - just as some are now claiming that the joke in question ridicules people with Tourette's. That was the point I was making.
It gets worse the BBC received complaints over what Gary Lineker's 'bald men' joke.
/// He told viewers: 'It's a strong start to the premier league season. Real hair-raising stuff at times… unless you're Alan Shearer and Danny Murphy.' ///

It's becoming increasing obviously that a section of people have an achingly large part of their life that is unfulfilled and empty.
They should take up hobbies to benefit society - knitting hats for prem babies, litter picking or doing errands for their infirm neighbours.
Frankly anything to keep them away from a pen and paper or a keyboard.

Good clean humour I'm all for, taking the pee out of someone's illness or condition is not humour. Put Bob Monkhouse (RIP) up against Jimmy Carr, and Carr would pull the bigger crowd, a good indication of how sick minded people are getting. Sick jokes have to get sicker to pull in the crowds, and that's whats happening.
I haven't read every contribution, been away for a few days, but I am willing to guess that it follows the same format that this type of thread always does -
Some will say that people have no sense of humour.
Others will say that humour is subjetive and a matter of individual taste.
And someone, probably more than one, will use the phrase "Get a life …"
There, that's saved me about twenty minutes!
