If one is looking for dictators, one once again needs to look towards Europe. In this case the EU. But their ability to dictate to the UK seems to be near an end thanks to our leader Boris, and his team of course.

Well my little village (on every level it’s a small sprawling town but we have to remain twee lol) I didn’t hear a dicky bird. Nor in the giant social security sprawl in the next town and if anything happened in Portsmouth I haven’t heard about it....Although if they did have anything I’m sure my brother was there with his blackard lol.
NIMBY, of course.
You do come up with some drivel, gulliver.

NIMBY (not in my back yard) is used when people object to things happening locally but don't mind them happening elsewhere. I didn't see casa making any objections.
Er - no one's mentioned it and there was a village event this week at which I was helping - attended by most of the local remainers (about 8 - 10 of them, so hopelessly outnumbered. A distinct non-event here - and in the next, bigger, villages and, I'm told, in Filey (a town!) Sorry metro-centrics, no-one's biting for you. :(
none round here, all full of Grockles getting Oliver. Those on the George made me laugh though, holding up placards about democracy whilst openly trying to prevent democracy! PMSL!

Oh lol, thanks Corby ( What do I know)
'E's a right tin ain't 'e?
We were all out and ready with the buckets of horse pzz and dog sick but sadly none of them turned up.
Im in central London...seemed pretty much vermin free as far as I could tell...have to laugh though, a bunch of scummy lefties claiming to protect and uphold democracy but actually have no idea what democracy is, as proven by their actions for the last three years in not accepting the result of a legal and democratically held vote that they lost..whats that noise ?..thats the sound of toys hitting the pavement as theyre thrown out of their collective prams.bwah bwah bwah.....

I see the leftie MSM are only "claiming" thousands, not tens of or hundreds of as the usually try and do but merely thousands...so another total failure by these placard waving wasters....
old jezza must have felt at home though and reliving his past days...after all, thats all he is a , a throwback from the days of the leftie socialist placard waving marcher...up the revolution Komrade..nah, up yours jezza....
It didn't happen here!
Nothing happened here either, but it was so sudden.
Nothing happened here. The residents of my local area have too much dignity, I guess.
// organised by Corbyn the Red //

Did you not bother to read your own link ?
The Newcastle demonstration was organised by Tony Dowling, chair of North East People Assembly Against Austerity.
Question Author
Gromit I realise Corbyn was not 'directly' responsible for the Newcastle demo ( stop nit picking) but was it not he who orchestrated the call for demos up and down the land?

// was it not [Corbyn] who orchestrated the call for demos up and down the land? //

No it wasn’t.

// The Defend Democracy protests were organised hours later by a broad group of campaigners that work with Another Europe is Possible.

The movement is growing, with a crowdfunder urging activists to give what they can to help fund action in the coming weeks. The campaign aims to reverse the prorogation of parliament, to stop Johnson driving our country off a cliff economically and politically, and to make sure the country has the time and space to deliberate and consider its political options. //
