How disgusting that judges are dismissed as "enemies of the people". If this case had gone with government I would not have been a bit surprised, but it would hardly imply that the judges were in the PM's pocket.

Read the full judgement, and decide for yourself. As a matter of law, in the end, the prerogative to prorogue Parliament does not exist without limits, and cannot be used to undermine the concept of Parliamentary Sovereignty. That is all that the case comes down to.

My opinion is he WILL resign.
I don’t think anyone expected a unanimous verdict and the judge’s words were - I think “excoriating” describes it well.
Put it this way, no honourable politician would survive such a ruling.
Maybe he’ll steal back across the Atlantic with Greta Thunberg ...

This ruling as not come as ant surprise, but it just proves the the law is an ass, since an earlier English court ruled that it was not unlawful.
