Off Duty Police Headbutter

Ahh it all makes sense now! The sadism of the met. Vile. I can not believe the off duty cop isn't facing retribution. Reasonable force? Pffft. What kind of example does this set! Absolutely vile.

As has been said the guy was already restrained If this copper is willing to head butt the guy in full glare of the public ; when any threat was already neutralised ;i wonder what he is prepared to do to other people , when there is no one around in a non life threatening situation . Whatever you think of the guy is irrelevant in the circumstance s I certainly wouldn't...

No,No Andy.. let teacake say it how they see fit!
Obviously this kind of violence teaches a stiff lesson.
You know.. like spanking kids teaches a stiff lesson! Violence is obviously the way forward.
Nice one teacake! You're condoning this vile, honestly sickening behaviour. Fine by me live your life under that kind of ideology i'm sure you'll live a happy one.

You can tell yourself that to make you feel better but at 10:25 you used two exclamation marks (indicates your strong, emotive support) so say "yes" to the question "It'd be fair enough though wouldn't it.. To teach them a lesson?". We all know that the action of teaching a lesson was a brutal headbutt to the face, because that's the entire topic of discussion.
You've made your view point clear Teacake there is no need for further exchange.

teacake - // @10.31 my kids have all grown up, married with there own families, very upstanding, and don't go, and have never gone about threatening to stab other members of the public. your getting a chip on your shoulder even now because I don't agree with you on this subject. //
No-one is suggesting for a moment that threatening to stab people is acceptable behaviour.
The point here is, headbutting someone is not acceptable behaviour either, and the behaviour of one individual in this scenario, does not excuse the behaviour of the other.
If you think it's OK for your children to be assaulted, then that's for you to live with, but disagreeing with that view does not amount to have 'a chip on the shoulder'.

The guy was restrained for 6 minutes after he threatened to stab people (he didn't even have a knife)
He then got headbutted for shouting "I'm not clever". That was the reason for the headbutt, it's obvious in the video.
He didn't get headbutted for threatening to stab people, else we would have saw that. The headbutt was not planned 6 minutes in advance was it not.
