Im watching the Everton- Spurs game just now.I see Everton are wearing their poppies with pride.Nothing on the Spurs tops. Why?Were there no Spurs players or fans died in any of the wars?
It's even worse where every BBC newsreader is forced to wear one. It means a absolutely nothing then, and is clearly an order. It should be individual choice.
Its far too early to be cross with people for not wearing a poppy, and even on 11th November, it should not be forced as company policy by an employer whether they be a football team or not.
I used to wear one because I thought I should, now I have changed my mind and made my own choices.
I dont know if you are British or not Pixie, but if you are British you must have quite a few ancestors who fought and died for this country.....what are your thoughts regarding your ancestors love for this country and your indifference.
