Just because you don’t wear a poppy doesn’t mean you haven’t lost someone.

People should stop being pressured to wear poppies. It means nothing if they are.

Individuals, yes, pixie, but major league teams,no.Especially Tottenham Hotspur, arent they supposed to be the "Jewish"team in London?
And Tottenham’s last game before Remembrance Day will be next Saturday.
Hopefully that clears up that bit of nastiness.
I think I just heard the sound of a spoon being put back in the drawer.
It's even worse where every BBC newsreader is forced to wear one. It means a absolutely nothing then, and is clearly an order. It should be individual choice.

LMAO that's the biggest load of BS that I've ever heard. I haven't even thought about buying a poppy yet.
Don't you just love it when that happens, Douglas :-)
For goodness sake it's the 3rd of November. When I was young you wore your poppy on the 11th only, not every day from mid-October onwards.

Its far too early to be cross with people for not wearing a poppy, and even on 11th November, it should not be forced as company policy by an employer whether they be a football team or not.

I used to wear one because I thought I should, now I have changed my mind and made my own choices.

No error,Mamy.Perhaps you should read the poem"lie in the dark and listen" by Noel Coward.....and get back to me.I await your apologies Mamy.
What difference could a poem make? Respect is inside people... an external show of it, doesn't mean anything either way.
The Spurs angle has been explained.

Years of working with and alongside the RBL and sitting at the knees of my Grandfathers taught me all I need to know.

Wearing a paper, metal, woollen or whatever symbol is no prof someone cares more than the next person.
