In view of the terrorist attacks inflicted upon the British people in the name of Islam, have we every right to show fear, hated and prejudice against the Islamic religion?

When you are sitting in the waiting room of one of the biggest hospitals in Lancashire and you are surrounded by hordes of Asians .Or when you go shopping in Burnley, Rochdale, Accrington, Haslingden, Colne or Nelson. Burkha clad women, men in Asian dress, gangs of Asian youths .Most of the shops are Pakistani owned . Same goes for taxi firms, takeaway shops and computer shops. It's getting worse as time goes by. I know quite a lot of people who avoid these towns now . It's not fear or hatred against the Muslims but prejudice that a lot of people are feeling .
Pixie, //I see a terrorist as a violent criminal (at best), if you see them as a "religious follower" then that is the difference //
But Islamic terrorists are followers of their religion - and devout followers too. Of all the people on board those planes on 9/11, whatever their respective religions, there were none so devout as the terrorists. They were not just prepared to die for what they believed, they were determined to die for what they believed.

The current UK Terrorist Alert level has been reduced to substantial meaning- an attack is likely. I know that our Intelligence Agency s have noted a rise in right wing neo nazi activity but I cannot convince myself that it is they who MI5 ,Special Branch et al think are likely to be responsible for the next attack. I am sure, although still simmering,it wont be from across the Irish Sea either. Who else ?
