Because employment figures are supposed to correlate to things such as fewer food bank usage and benefits, and we're suppose to be able to paint a picture with the figures but we can't because they're totally skewed.
The only way we can really get a picture is to know how many people are on a "living wage".
yes people as I under stand it can work whilst receiving universal credit and as I am led to believe that if they work 1 hour a day 5 days a week and they get paid £10 per hour they will take home about maybe £36 after any reductions (if any) then their universal credit would be reduced by £36
