Great shame that neither were asked about their intent on immigration. They both agreed that the NHS was under enormous pressure but wouldn't admit what that excessive and imported pressure was. As a life long Conservative supporter I reckon neither were covering themselves in Glory but Boris will get my vote. Must do better in his TV interviews however....

So Corbyn wants to negotiate a good BREXIT deal but refuses to say whether he wants the deal to go through or not. Much the same an Thornberry who wants to put forward a deal and then vote against it in a referendum. And still people think they are worth voting for? Crazy!
As I mentioned before, Brexit isn't the be all and end all of a good Prime Minister and it certainly isn't the only task at hand for the upcoming PM. Our future is uncertain so it would be nice to have a PM who can not only vision a good Brexit, but also a good future post Brexit.
Anyone found Corbyn's manifesto? Why does Corbyn want to invest £70 billion into Scotland? Why not Wales or Ireland?
And that to me would be Boris. Not perfect, but intends to get BREXIT over and done with (to honour a democratic vote) and has more realistic ideas for the country. Corbyn intends to hang BREXIT Out for at least 6 months and has pie in the sky ideas.
Not a shadow of doubt , Corbyn was by far the better Spokesman, far more mature and sensible . Boris acted like he was taking part in the School Debating Society.
It was more entertaining than Live at the Apollo. :0) :0)
My opinion?

This import from the US needs to go in the bin.
What is undeniable is that Johnson was unbelievably rude - over-running his allotted slot and talking over people (I think he learned that at Eton, Oxford, the Monday Club and the Bullingdon Club - it's what the opinionated and arrogant do best). Corbyn came over and sincere and honest whereas Johnson showed himself up to be a one-trick pony - preferably oven-ready.
Diddly, what rubbish, Corbyn overran his allotted time as many times as Boris did and Corbyn was far from honest, he was asked 9 times about his stance on Brexit and waffled every time without giving an answer.
Corbyn neither told lies nor talked over people. I think the interviewer did a damn good job restricting Johnson as well as she did.
diidly//Corbyn neither told lies//
He keeps repeating the lie that the NHS will be handed to the US, despite being told countless times that it will not.
Why is it Conservative supporters are able to criticise Boris but Labour supporters are incapable of criticising Jeremy? Be honest you Labourites - go on, try just for once. Neither of them covered themselves in glory. They both put up a rotten performance.
I think that we should be grateful to Diddly and Gulliver. Before they started with these threads there were many on here talking about the LibDems and Labour but now thanks to them the majority are saying about voting for Boris whether they like him or not. With these two on Labours side they have helped the Tory vote no end.
There is something i don't understand - and maybe someone on here can explain it without banging any political drums. If a politician of any persuasion stands in front of a tv audience of millions, and blatantly tells a pre-election lie, why is he or she not taken to task by the Electoral Commission? On the question of the NHS being 'on the table' in trade deals with the US, Corbyn waved some papers about and stated that they were the redacted minutes of meetings between the Tory government and people representing US pharmaceutical interests. The papers he showed to the audience - which he says were as a result of a FOI request - were covered in black ink with hardly any (if any at all) wording visible. Johnson rebuffed this as total nonsense and said that the minutes were published in entirety and were available to read. One of them was telling a blatant lie.
Ken, the Electoral Commission would not have the staff or the time to deal with politicians who lie in a run up to an election.
Do some people honestly think that the only two political options are Boris or Jeremy?

It seems that many conservative voters feel that if you slate Boris, you must be an advocate for Jeremy and it seems that many Labour voters feel that if you slate Jeremy then you must be an advocate for Boris.
Devil, who else do you think is in the running?
Most people probably think there are only two potential Prime Ministers... Boris or Jeremy. I can't imagine anyone seriously considers Swinson a contender for the job... but there's no accounting for folk.
It is evident that there are two main parties in the United Kingdom. However, they're not the only parties on the ballot.
But only one party out of six where I live that says it will leave the EU and even then the candidate is a remainer.
