Labour= Full Term Abortions
on demand.
Don't know has anyone else mentioned it. More important than anything else, imo.
They have vowed to decriminalise abortion which will lead to abortion on demand for any reason up to full term. (If I understand it properly. Admittedly, I haven't fully looked into it yet)

The only case I personally know of, was well before this. A woman had a baby aborted fairly late, because it was thought that the baby had fatal abnormalities. He was born alive, and as soon as the mother realised, she begged the staff to try to save him, but was told she had "made her choice " and he died soon after.
It's not a Victorian-era law though, is it? It's the 1967 Abortion Act:
> The Victorian law underlies the 1967 Act introduced by Liberal MP David Steel to end the deaths of women after backstreet abortions. It made exceptions to the 1861 criminal offence where two doctors certified it was in the interests of a woman’s health to have an abortion, which must take place on registered medical premises.
So it's the intent of the Labour Party to allow an abortion in all circumstances, not just when
a) two doctors certified it was in the interests of a woman’s health
b) it is carried out on registered premises and
c) it is carried out within 24 weeks
They've jammed a lot of meaning into a very short sentence there.

In October this year (not some years ago under Labour) the two sections of the 1861 Act concerning abortion were repealed in Ulster
As the 1967 Abortion Act applies only in Great Britain, the law affecting abortion in Ulster is contained in the 1945 Criminal Justice Act (Northern Ireland).
That Act permits abortions up to twenty-eight weeks while the Abortion Act limits abortions in Great Britain to twenty-four weeks.

SPICERACK, if something previously illegal is no longer illegal, there normally needs to be legislation passed by means of an Act of Parliament or a Statutory Instrument.
I say normally, since a court could decide a piece of legislation is defective and therefore the alleged offence does not exist in law.

Anyway, 'funny' story about Ralph Northam. Dem Gov of Virginia and supporter of full term abortion.
As you know, he was caught in that yearbook photo scandal.
http:// tiny.cc /yjopgz
First of all he said it was fake news but the college had a copy and the game was up.
So the Dems put his second in command, Vice-Governor?, in charge. It soon transpired he was under investigation for sexual assault and rape.
Never mind, they knew just the chap to take over, the Dem Lt. Governor.
Unfortunately, he turned out to be the Grand Wizard of the Virginia Klu Klux Klan or something.
It's what the Dems did next that was revealing.
