Marr telling Boris ( repeatedly) re the Westminster bridge terrorist attack
“ For 10 years you’ve done nothing about it” changing the law that Labour implemented regarding half term early release , is this fair ,considering it was Cameron and not he that /// done nothing about the idiotic law that Labour brought in //
Boris said he’ll change this and I feel he’s just the man to do it !
for people of a certain age, can you imagine anyone in the media asking Harold Macmillan why he is not appearing in a political debate on tv!
there is no respect or deference given these days and far too much media intrusion, it is no wonder nothing ever gets done, far too many cooks in the kitchen all thinking they know better.
I'd like to know just how he managed to tape those enormous knives onto his wrists let alone walk around with them on show. He wouldn't have been able to put his hands in his pockets.I know that the police are saying that they think he worked alone but I am not so sure .
It was politicians who allowed this terrorist early release to kill twice. It is incumbent for politicians to rectify their stupidity and incompetence now.
Debatable, Danny. But if you're suggesting that our mainstream political parties should sink to the "political" level of an Islamist terrorist, that just backs up my point: disgusting.
Boris has been a Conservative MP since 2014 and an high profile cabinet member. He has been Prime Minister since September.
During that time, no attempt was made to change the Labour half term tariff, and the Conservatives went with it with gusto, releasing 74 terrorists.
You are letting Boris off very lightly if you buy his innocence plea. He was there, he didn’t do anything about it (like the rest of them), and he shares the blame.
//Disgusting all around that this event is being politicised //
Why disgusting? Would you rather it be swept under the carpet? It should be politicised. Politicians are responsible for our laws - and if laws ultimately prove to be detrimental to society- as this has - politicians need to do something about it - and quickly.
Putting the issue aside, Boris should have shut up and let Marr ramble on. Then said, "Have you finished? I would like to answer your first question without interruption," and keep it up every time Marr tried to drown him out.
The public would surely get the idea.
