The Hypocricy Of Boris
So how does he square his getaway to Mustique with his new year message re being "friends and equals"? Frankly, it stinks.

You mean of course that it hasn't worked for you. Then your backstop is blame everyone else and get a can of white lightning open.
//I think you didn't understand me, Togo.//
You have been as wrong as that on many occasions I'm sure. I understand you far better than you are comfortable with. Just swallow your own poison and shush for a while. :))

Diddly, //Too many traditional Labour voters lent their vote to Boris because they wanted Brexit and for no other reason//
Not so. Do you want to live in a country resembling the USSR, or East Germany, or current day Venezuela, or the former Yugoslavia? No? Well neither do the people who voted Conservative - and for very good reason. Get your head out of the sand and get with the times. Your brand of politics is finished - and hallelujah to that!

//I would have preferred a Labour government because they look after the working man //
Right! That's why the last time they were given the chance they abolished the basic rate of income tax designed to help the low paid, rifled the working man's pension pot, and sold the country's gold reserves at knock down prices. You people live either in ignorance or denial. I've never sure which.
Theland, since when did austerity affect you? You were a high earner so, apart from receiving the State pension which others seem to manage on without moaning continually as you do, where's the pension that ought to be attached to your years of lucrative earning?

Yes Naomi you are quite right.
I have my state pension and a company pension.
Left to my own devices I would be quite comfortable, but over the years I have stepped,in to help my kids who are not as well off as me.
But I don't thank any Tory, policies for my lot, and have witnessed like many have, the running down of the services we cherished.

You don't thank Tory policies for your lot, Theland? What is your 'lot' and what do you expect society to give you? You're not unique. Most people help their children - and most have no expectation from society to buoy them up because most take responsibility for themselves. Stop playing the martyr. It doesn't wash.
Ha ha martyr? You kidding me?
No police on the streets, cuts to council services, a creaking NHS, schools showing the strain, especially primary schools where six of my grandkids attend.
Lots more to add to the list, but your ignorance of real life is breathtaking.
You need to take, off the rose tinted glasses.
All is not well.
