Until the Falklands, the Tories under Margaret Twatcher, had managed to double the unemployment figure that they'd slammed Labour for. They were miles behind Labour in the polls and were heading for defeat. Then over the horizon comes General Galtieri. And the stupid British public ignore the catastrophe of the economy, and re-elect her on the Falklands Factor. Since when, some areas of this country have never recovered, and some of her husbands cronies got rich through selling off the manufacturing assetts of the inbdustrial heartlands. TGL my armpit. Her statue should be torn down and thrown in the sea.
Labour has appointed Ed Miliband - another abject failure - to spearhead a review of Labour’s general election disaster. Do they actually have even half a brain between them?

Ok for old times sake i'll answer the usual BS points from the supporters of socialism:
10cs: "Until the Falklands, the Tories under TGL, had managed to double the unemployment figure that they'd slammed Labour for."
- yes agreed but they were the result of thinning out after the law was changed to allow management to manage, up till then it was almost impossible to fire anyone so all the nationalised industries were ridiculously overmanned.
"They were miles behind Labour in the polls and were heading for defeat. Then over the horizon comes General Galtieri. And the stupid British public ignore the catastrophe of the economy, and re-elect her on the Falklands Factor"
- correct again, TGL said that the medicine needed was harsh but the patient badly needed it, sadly the wets in the government and wider country started to bottle it, the activities of Junta did put us back on track.
"Since when, some areas of this country have never recovered, and some of her husbands cronies got rich through selling off the manufacturing assetts of the industrial heartlands"
- well the nationalised industries were all running at a huge loss due to union dogma and public sector inefficiency.
"Her statue should be torn down and thrown in the sea."
- there are none so blind as those that will not see.

Diddly, you say you, gulliver and clarion are sensible as opposed to everyone else here who is, allegedly, deluded, but you’ve never explained why you would want a Corbyn-style governent. You’re all quick to condemn the Tories for any reason whatsoever, albeit an often manufactured reason, as evidenced by this OP …. but that’s all you ever do. Tell us how this country would, in your opinion, benefit from a Corbyn-style government. I’ve seen no sensible or rational argument for it from any of you so far.
