I was always led to believe that government ministers are always accountable for any gifts or gratuities bestowed upon them. They also have to declare any business interests. Boris has hardly kept this junket hidden so one would assume it will be kosher and not financed by the taxpayer.
What I find truly pathetic is this dross has gone over 100 posts and two idiots are still being fed oxygen. Oh well back to my luxury Christmas break in sunny climes.
As a Tory supporter and an ordinary Joe I find that hard work pays dividends in retirement and who knows, I might try Mustique next year.

Let's cut to the chase (and, no, I haven't read many of the 150+ posts as I've only just got back from my New Year's Eve bash in Surrey).

So, Boris pens a few words suggesting that he will strive to work for those who did not vote for him (the losers in the GE) and those who voted to Remain (the losers in the referendum). He didn't have to do so and the losers - particularly those who voted to remain - have no right to call on his services to work for their aims (to remain in the EU). As I continually suggest, nobody would have worked for the Leavers if the result had gone 52:48 to Remain. We'd have remained and that would have been that.Then he goes on holiday. Does that make him a hypocrite? If so, why?
