During the Watergate trials one of the lawyers representing a Nixon minion said he was too pretty to go to prison.
If Weinstein is convicted his legal team won't be able to offer that as mitigation.

Because one is concerned with guilty by association and the other is guilty in the eyes of the law. Two totally different things, you certainly dont need to be actually guilty for your employer or sponsor to ditch you.

Imagine how he could sue them for firing him over allegation that are just hearsay? He's big and powerful enough to. I bet he didn't because they would provide the misconduct allegation and it would need to be investigated probably to prove him guilty!

If he was innocent, he should (or I would) be suing here there and everywhere for defamatory. Regarding defamatory and USA law just look at the 1st amendment.
