I somehow doubt the RF was unaware, in fact it rather looks to me that they were told to get out of the public eye for six weeks whilst The Firm sorted out what to do with them. I would suspect it is just MM preempting the RF in the announcement, perhaps to save face. We will never know of course (unless she spills the beans after the divorce)

It does seem the best sort of outcome to be honest but they will need to do it without tax payers money.

Just hope Dim Wit made her sign a pre nup or he is going to be wiped out in a few years time.

The only one to feel concern for in all this is the Queen.First there’s the Prince Andrew fiasco then the unfortunate illness of Prince Philip now this news.She must wonder what she’s done to deserve all this.
