Why Do You Think That The Duchess Of Sussex Is Treated Differently To The Duchess Of Cambridge For Exactly The Same Behaviour?
When it’s laid out like this, it seems pretty shocking.
What do you think the reasons are?

"that is the not- to- be- missed opportunity to take offence by proxy." I'm not sure that noting a obvious bias in reporting is taking offence on someones behalf. Just because I notice the sky is blue doesn't mean that I'm suddenly taking offence. An observation is exactly that and only that, Naomi. I think you need a sit down, you can't understand the point...

Spicerack; Just for the record - though i'm sure i've said it before on here - I denounce Trump because of his policies and the way he implements them by bullying smaller nations. And I dare say that the decisions POTUS makes could have much more of an impact on my life than any Harry and Meghan make. Their proposed move to Canada will not start a war which our soldiers will be drawn into. Whereas Trump's decisions...……………………….
//Saw a vid of her the other day. Harry was conversing with a group of dignitaries when she pushed in front of him shaking hands with them//
Ironically SR, that's a very Trumpy thing to do. I also seem to remember Donny having little time for Royal protocal when he was in the country last year.
So when the POTUS does something you'll defend him, but if MM does similar, she's a disgrace?

The Queen's should be allowed to focus on her sick 98yr old husband at this time, not be worrying about the damage these spoilt, self-centred, overgrown children might wreak on the monarchy.

//Naomi why would two people behave in the same way? //
yes ! no ! two reasons spring to mind
if two people never behaved in the same way then there would be no group think
but there is: there fore by observation, two people behave in the same way and the next relecant question is - under what conditions
(a)
and secondly C G Jungs second big idea was "group consciousness" - ( kollektives Unbewusstes) under which etc etc
(a) first observed in the bay of pigs disaster - no one said this was a bad idea ( and possibly Suez, where the arabist said this was a bad idea and was chucked out of the cabinet and ruined)
You need one dissentient opinion which may not even be relevant ( as in this coffee tastes like crap)

Really - it’s not seeking offence. It’s asking a question. The stories about the candles. The way they wear their hair. The flowers they use. The report on them not seeing the Queen at Christmas.
One or two stories are understandable, but when you stack them up...
But anyway, like I say - these stories can be interpreted different ways. Someone at the bottom of the link I posted has said that other royal wives have also been treated badly by the British press.
Perhaps this is one of those situations where there is a point to be made on either side of the argument.
