Why Do You Think That The Duchess Of Sussex Is Treated Differently To The Duchess Of Cambridge For Exactly The Same Behaviour?
When it’s laid out like this, it seems pretty shocking.
What do you think the reasons are?

"that is the not- to- be- missed opportunity to take offence by proxy." I'm not sure that noting a obvious bias in reporting is taking offence on someones behalf. Just because I notice the sky is blue doesn't mean that I'm suddenly taking offence. An observation is exactly that and only that, Naomi. I think you need a sit down, you can't understand the point...

" he's *** whipped."
If we look at Harrys character before he met Meghan, I think you'll find that is very unlikely. Harry has always been a bit different, he has always pushed a bit here and there, gettin into trouble for partys and his behaviour.
Now people think he just found this woman and he'll get on all fours for her. Pfffft. I think people are kidding themselves. I think Harry just loves and cares for his wife. Wipped? Pffft. I bet they play with whips.

It doesn’t affect any of our lives. However, some of us don’t like to see a once happy-go-lucky and popular fellow reduced to a simpering ‘yes’ man, and we like even less to witness the lack of respect this manipulating, self-obsessed woman has for our queen. She deserves better. No doubt Harry knows better but being as he is between the devil and the deep blue sea, in trying to placate his wife he is digging the hole he finds himself in even deeper. It will end in tears. Silly, silly man, Harry. I find it all very sad indeed.
I think there is information you're not aware of, Naomi. For example, harrys ex's always left him due to the press, even though he kept it quiet. Now the press are going full steam ahead for Meghan, and considering what happened to his mum, and considering his royal position is pretty moot anyhow, it is very understandable why he wants to get out with his family. Why would't he now just want to live a quiet, normal life with the love of his live and new born?

Well, probally just as much as he's been on the phone to you, luv. How on earth do you know if Harry is a yes man? they try to avoid the media you know. So unless your phone calls have lasted longer than mine, it seems it's all just speculation isn't it.

> Who's engineering the outcome?
The gutter press, for a start.
> Seems to me they're making their own choices.
According to your post of 16:19 there is no "they" ... instead there is a once happy-go-lucky and popular fellow reduced to a silly, simpering ‘yes’ man; and a manipulating, self-obsessed woman who is making the choices.
Whereas I believe that there is a "they", and that act as a unit ... which means that every criticism of her is a criticism of him, and vice versa. I feel sorry for the pair of them, for different reasons in each case.
I do think this could be the beginning of the end of the monarchy. We're beyond the time that people such as Harry can be born to this kind of life. It may be OK if you're directly in line to the throne, but the life mapped out for Harry (that he's rebelling against) is the one Andrew has struggled with in the previous generation, and the one that Charlotte and Louis (William and Catherine's younger two) are also going to have to deal with in following generations. The world is a very different place to 1952 when the queen came to the throne and the monarchy, which only moves at a generational pace, can't keep up with the rate of change now.
